I wanted to get on before midnight so that I would have a post for the last day in January but I am a bit too late as it’s early in the morning on February 1, 2009. February! February? Now that is good news. January is usually the longest, coldest and most boring month, however, this turned out to be a very good month - personally and professionally. Sales were brisk and all is good at home! What more can one ask for.

We had a very busy shopping season since Black Friday and we are very grateful to all of our wonderful customers (online and offline) that have made it possible for us to continue our business in this hectic uncertain time. We will be attending the winter tradeshow at the end of this month and will be heading to Vegas and possibly Atlanta as well and boy are we excited. So many new items and home decor ideas will be in our store VERY SOON.

Well, I have to say this was an absolute gorgeous weekend weather wise and a good weekend business wise. It seems as though many of you were out and about getting ready for Fall. The festival that we held at our shopping plaza on Saturday - October 11th - was a success. The Juliano Brothers Band were as good as I heard they would be. Great voices and terrific songs! Many of you came out and relaxed in the gorgeous sunshine to browse the wonderful stores in our plaza and listen to the awesome music. I was exhausted by the time I got home and then was up and at ‘em again today - cleaning up the store, re-organizing, re-arranging and re-stocking - which is a very good thing! Now, I need to get ready for the next expo which is being held in Mt. Laurel, NJ, on Saturday November 15, 2008, and is being put together by The Burlington County Woman group. I also need to re-do our window display this week and get ALL of the holiday and Christmas decor out on the showroom floor. Hey, has anyone heard of YELP! It’s a great website for everyone.
